Back at it again
I’m back again for my 5th year in the Live Fearless Challenge. Each year I challenge myself to complete 150kms of exercise (along with my team) to raise awareness and funds for Crohn’s and Colitis Australia.
At the age of 16 I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. Being just a teenager at diagnosis I didn’t truly understand what it meant to have a chronic illness. Now, 9 years later, I understand that having a chronic illness means multiple colonoscopies, daily tablets, regular infusions, numerous doctors trips, and ongoing sick days. However, it has also shown me strength, and resilience, and a wonderful community.
Every year, this challenge is an opportunity for me to share my journey with Crohn’s disease. Only a few weeks ago I had my entire treatment change again so bring it on 2023.
