I'm living fearlessly this September by participating in the Live Fearless Challenge 2023

I’m getting active to achieve 150kms and raise awareness and much needed funds for Australians living with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

As I challenge myself to reach these goals during September, it would really help me to know that I have your support. If you can rally behind me with even a small donation, it would motivate me through the month and keep my spirits high.

All proceeds go towards Crohn's & Colitis Australia's support services, research initiatives, education and advocacy programs for the Crohn's and colitis community.

The Start

I'm not good at writing blogs. But I will write this like a diary/journal entry. 
So to start this off I will explain the reason I have joined this challenge.

First my husband Nathan suffers from IBD in the form of Crohn's Disease. This affects him in multiple different ways including but limited too fatigue,brain fog, abdomen cramps and low energy. This affects our everyday life, even when he is in remission. So we like to support those who suffer from the same condition and work for more effective treatments.

The second reason for doing this challenge is to increase my exercise level. The more exercise we do the healthier we are. As of right now I am not where I want to be health wise, I wish to improve on that. So this is my attempt to do so.

The third reason is to have some fun and be an inspiration. It is a good opportunity to have some fun walking together and set an example to our young daughter.

So those are the reasons I am starting this challenge. I will do my best and I hope everyone who reads this will be inspired and support me on this journey.
