I'm living fearlessly this September by participating in the Live Fearless Challenge 2024

I’m getting active to achieve 150kms and raise awareness and much needed funds for Australians living with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

As I challenge myself to reach these goals during September, it would really help me to know that I have your support. If you can rally behind me with even a small donation, it would motivate me through the month and keep my spirits high.

All proceeds go towards Crohn's & Colitis Australia's support services, research initiatives, education and advocacy programs for the Crohn's and colitis community.

Thank you and see you at the finish line!

My Updates

Time’s running out!

I have been training for an adventure race, which has meant running training – that has been really hard! My knees and ankles have become painful (even to walk) over the last two weeks, which can be common with in people with IBD.

Anyway, the race was held in Canberra on Sunday; it was fun, parts of it were really hard, but I finished it! A 5Km run ????3Km kayak ? and 10Km MTB ride ?. Monday I physically fell into an expected heap.

Now I find myself in a disappointing position of feeling like I have worked so much harder this year to rack up the Km, but have only done just over half, and I haven’t even raised half of my goal in donations ?

BUT I don’t like to go down without a fight! Even though I’m not feeling great I’m going to have a final push for my distance goal by jumping back on my bike and going for it over the next few days!

Fathers’ Day fun!

Paddle boarding for the first time at the harbour. A bit windy but great fun : )

Living with Crohn’s disease is not an easy ride, and it doesn’t end. Absolutely use an electric bike if it makes your ride just that little bit easier!
