My Why?

I’m taking part in the Live Fearless Challenge because Crohn’s disease has become a huge part of my life over the past few years. I was officially diagnosed just over a year ago, but I had been struggling with symptoms for years before that, without really understanding what was happening to my body. Since being diagnosed, I’ve had to deal with the ups and downs of flare ups, finding the right medications, dealing with side effects and the impact it can all have on both my physical and mental health. Some days can be really hard, and there are times when I’ve felt frustrated by how much Crohn’s can take away from you. I wanted to do something that would challenge me, but also give something back. By taking part in Live Fearless, I hope I can raise awareness and money to support Crohn’s & Colitis Australia and the many other Australians living with these invisible illnesses. This cause is really personal to me, and every donation, no matter how big or small, means so much. ❤️
