I'm living fearlessly this September. Will you support me?
I’m taking on the Live Fearless Challenge this September to raise awareness and funds for the almost 180,000 Australians living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
IBD is one of the most misunderstood chronic health conditions. Yet people living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are ‘frequent flyers’ of the hospital system. It strips away income, disrupts education, work, relationships and travel, and can have a significant impact on both physical and mental health.
That’s why I’m getting active this September and aiming to complete 150km. Every kilometre is for the thousands of people living with IBD who face this in silence.
Consider supporting me as I take on the LFC! Your donation will help fund research, patient support, education and advocacy - because no one should have to manage this disease on their own.

Live it learn it
Living with Crohn’s disease and a permanent ileostomy is not the end of life , it’s the beginning of a new kind of strength. I’ve faced pain that brought me to my knees, days when even getting out of bed felt impossible. But I rose. Surgery didn’t take my dignity; it gave me back my life. With an ileostomy, I no longer just survive , I thrive. I’ve discovered resilience I never knew I had, and I’ve learned to honour my body not for what it looks like, but for the battle it has endured and overcome.
Every scar tells a story of courage. I am not ashamed, I am empowered. I laugh louder, live freer, and dream bolder because I know what it means to fight for every moment. To anyone living with invisible illness or facing the realities of chronic disease: you are not broken. You are powerful, beautiful, and capable beyond measure. This life is yours — no matter how different it may look now. Use your story to light the way for others. You are more than a diagnosis. You are living proof that healing, hope, and happiness can exist , even in the most unexpected forms.
