MAC IS IN REMISSION, REPEAT, MAC IS IN REMISSION!
We received the news a month ago that Mac is in remission from Crohns Disease!!!
This doesn't mean that he is miraculously cured from Crohns, remission means that its just not active at the moment. And with the help of medication and diet, we all hope that it will stay that way.
I'm still taking part to be involved in the ongoing fight against Crohns and IBD for people like Mac and I am proud to do so!
Mac is in his first year of Uni, studying film production and has just gotten his first job :) I am so proud of him!!!
We've challenged ourselves to move for at least 30 minutes every day this September, while raising funds for a cause that's close to our hearts.
Over 180 thousand Australians live with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis (known as IBD). There is currently no cure, and very little government funding dedicated to the condition.
