Day 3: A Neighbourhood Walk with Xavier
Today Xavier set off around the neighbourhood with Jada and Bronson, proudly taking part in the Live Fearless Challenge as part of Team Bowel Patrol.
With the sun shining and smiles all round, every step is helping raise awareness and much-needed funds for Australians living with Crohn’s and colitis.
For Xavier, who lives with ulcerative colitis, these walks are more than just exercise - they’re about showing strength, community, and hope.
We’re so proud of Xavier and grateful for everyone who continues to support him and Team Bowel Patrol on this journey. Together, we’re making every kilometre count. ?

We’re Bowel Patrol - and we’re walking for Xavier and our IBD community
We’re proudly taking on the Live Fearless Challenge this September as Bowel Patrol - a bunch of gutsy legends walking 150km to raise awareness and funds for the almost 180,000 Australians living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
For us, this challenge is personal. We're walking for Xavier, who lives with Ulcerative Colitis, and for all the new friends we've made since becoming part of this amazing and supportive IBD community.
IBD is one of the most misunderstood chronic health conditions. It affects every part of life — from school, work, and travel, to relationships and mental health. Many people living with Crohn’s or colitis are frequent hospital visitors, navigating flare-ups, surgeries, medications, and invisible pain.
That’s why we’re putting one foot in front of the other this September — every KM we clock is in honour of those doing it tough in silence.
