Stiggy-Stella Team

Our total team activity 650kms

Friday September 22nd

Stiggy-Stella had a lot of non-starters this year, but those who have rallied, well done. Sandy Clark stands out as a shining example of going the extra yards! Go Sandy!
Personally I am going to have to really power along for the rest of the month - clocked up 10.3 kms alongside Harry.
Tomorrow I will walk with Pauline which always takes me further. Thanks Pauline.

September 4th

Today in Ballarat started with sunshine, enticing us to get outdoors. A bit of delay (I shouldn't blame Harry, but I will) saw us spiralling down in a shower-sun-shower-dry-shower-dry-rain-dry cloud-rain-heavier and heavier. Walking toward our Stiggy-Stella stalwart, Pauline, finishing her busy day at work, my mood uplifted despite the rain getting heavier. Pauline was keen (despite being dressed impeccably stylishly) so we walked from her work back to our homes. My mood remained uplifted and, despite the rain, clocked 8 kms.
The message is the power of friendship and the power of exercise lifts our sense of well-being. Stiggy-Stella Team has both.
Let's do it Stiggy-Stella Team.

Happy Fathers' Day to Jeremy & Harry as the fathers on our team.
Yesterday was a hectic day for many of the Stiggy-Stella Team with a 5th birthday to be celebrated, so kms were down yet activity was up there and substantial!
Only the kms count... as our Perth-based Sandy Clark found after 3 hours in the garden and no recognition from her phone app. She did clock up 8.48 kms - always one to get competitive.
Now a new week and firmer commitment.
All excuses considered with kind and gentle recognition.

Friday September 1st

Hello Team
First day to clock your K's - mine were a bit short of what I had hoped I would achieve, but certainly did the minimum of 5kms with Harry on a muddy track around Lake Wendouree.
How did you go?

August 31st 2023

Register now to join the Stiggy-Stella Team for jumping out of the stalls tomorrow September 1st 2023.

We're living fearlessly this September by participating in the Live Fearless Challenge 2023

We're getting active to achieve 150kms and raise awareness and much needed funds for Australians living with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

As we challenge ourselves to reach these goals during September, it would really help us to know that we have your support. If you can rally behind us with even a small donation, it would motivate us through the month and keep my spirits high.

All proceeds go towards Crohn's & Colitis Australia's support services, research initiatives, education and advocacy programs for the Crohn's and colitis community.

Thank you and see you at the finish line!
