I'm living fearlessly this September. Will you support me?
This September, I’m taking on the Live Fearless Challenge and committing to walk and run 150km in 30 days to raise awareness for ulcerative colitis – a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that I live with every day.
I was first diagnosed at just 17 years old, and I remember feeling so scared and overwhelmed. UC is often invisible to others, but it impacts everything – from energy and nutrition to mental health and daily routines. The list of side effects is long (and I could go on and on), but every person with UC knows how much it can affect even the simplest parts of life.
Now, I’m proud to say I’m a wife and a mum to a beautiful 8-month-old. Fitness and movement have become such important parts of my journey – not just for my physical health, but also for keeping me grounded, sane, and strong through the ups and downs of life with UC.
Every kilometre I cover in this challenge represents resilience, determination, and hope for more understanding and support for those living with IBD.
Follow along as I track my progress, share the highs and lows, and push myself to reach the 150km finish line by the end of the month.
