Days 3 & 4
Well... after my little stumble (or completely ungraceful fall - you choose), I took Tuesday off to let my already bad knee recover slightly. I did still do my pilates class on Tuesday night but no walkies for me.
Yesterday and today saw beautiful days here at the windfarm where I walk so I took advantage of the glorious weather and hit the tracks for 3.47kms today (Thursday) and 2.96kms yesterday. I did have a cow try to block me from returning to the office (see attached pic) but we came to a mutual agreement and she let me through. All the newborn calves are laying around in the sun and they are beautiful.
Happy days :)
I really am blown away by the fact that so many of my friends have given up their hard earned dollars to support me in this initiative. If I wasn't feeling positive before, I am now. Currently feeling so much love that it's making me burst (but in a good, non-offensive way). Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart :)
I'm undertaking the Live Fearless Challenge this September
This is the first time I’ve ever done anything like this so please be gentle ?
I have lived with Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis since I was 15 years old. My battle has been long and hard but I’m winning.
Not only are funds needed for research into IBD, but this is a huge step (actually, a whole bunch of them) for me. I'm putting on my sneakers to achieve 150kms and raise awareness and much needed funds for people living in Australia with IBD.
All proceeds go towards Crohn's & Colitis Australia who provide research, education and advocacy programs for people living with IBD.
As I tackle this physical challenge, it will help to know that you have supported me with even a small donation.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Thank you to my Sponsors
