I'm undertaking the Live Fearless Challenge this September

Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis are emerging global diseases, with Australia having one of the highest prevalence in the world. More than 80,000 Australians live with these conditions, with numbers expected to increase to more than 100,000 by 2022.

These diseases can have a debilitating effect on a person's life and they are becoming more prevalent, more severe and more complex with more and more young people being diagnosed daily. The symptoms can result in the need for hospitalisations and major surgeries, and impact a person's life daily. Not only that, the nature of these diseases places a toll on a person's emotional, physical and social wellbeing.

And despite all of this, it is something that so few people know anything about.

So for that reason, the Glow Getters and I are putting on our sneakers to achieve 300kms and raise awareness and much needed funds for people living in Australia with IBD. All proceeds go towards Crohn's & Colitis Australia who provide research, education and advocacy programs for people living with IBD.

As I tackle this physical challenge, it will help to know that you have supported me with even a small donation.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Thank you to my Sponsors
