Time for a walk!
A bit about me...
I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in 2011, and it's been a rollercoaster of hospitals, surgeries and medications since. I've been lucky enough to have found remission with Infliximab, but unfortunately now deal with the side effects of playing havoc with my immune system.
Despite this, Crohn's has led me to some incredible people, and in 2016 a team of fabulous CCA supporters and I hiked along some stunning sections of the Great Wall of China. Through this effort we also raised over $100,000 for Crohn's and Colitis Australia and it remains one of the most proud experiences of my life.
Shortly after returning from China, a furry little German Shepherd pup called Lana entered my life and she's kept me active and moving since. Inspired by the beautiful and strong Tracey Murrin, this September we are keen to become a part of her team and clock up 150kms during the month to help raise awareness and funds for CCA.
We hope you'll become a part of our journey, be it through donating or sharing, or even if you want to come for a walk!
Lana and I are undertaking the Live Fearless Challenge this September
Lana and I are donning our sneakers to achieve 150kms and raise awareness and much needed funds for people living in Australia with IBD.
All proceeds go towards Crohn's & Colitis Australia who provide research, education and advocacy programs for people living with IBD.
As I tackle this physical challenge, it will help to know that you have supported me with even a small donation.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
