Thank you to all of you who are jumping on board, logging your km's and also to those who are donating! 

We are a little over a week into the challenge and we have raised about 1/3 of our goal amount so far. Well done!

So far with what we have raised we will help CCA to provide IBD nurses to patients, or to support someone with support groups and also research. There is still so much work to be done, but as we raise funds we start to place people in a position to do the hard work of finding causes, cures and treatments!!

And when we help to raise info about one disease, what we learn helps researchers for other diseases. The flow on effect in medicine is huge.

However you have participated so far- thank you.

It’s almost time!

Hello to all my lovely team members! 

Thank you for joining me as we work towards making a world that is kinder and more accessible for those with inflammatory bowel diseases. 

We are about to kick off our Live Fearless Challenge on Friday 1st Sept!

Remember that you can do any kind of movement you like including stretching, dance, weights, running, chair yoga, swimming, tennis or anything else you can think of. You can also do multiple kinds of movement to tally up to 150km. The calculator on your dashboard will help you record your kilometres and work out how much you’ve done. If you have a tracking device, it may be able to be linked to track your progress too.

Make sure you begin posting your links on social media, out via email or to all and sundry to get those donations in throughout the month. Whatever you manage to fundraise goes towards our collective goal of $2k.

This will be my 6th LFC and what I find is that people love a little video or action shot on social media. Please use captions if you do videos for those who may be hearing impaired. 

It’s also a great time to get educated on the diseases if you are an ally instead of a patient. There are some great resources on the website. These tips and bits of info are great to share with your community and can help you fundraise.

Join Team "Fearless Vic's" for the Live Fearless Challenge!

We're getting active to achieve 150kms and raise awareness and much needed funds for Australians living with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. You do not need to have IBD to join this team, if you don't have it your allyship helps so much- if you do have it, let's show the world what we can do, together. No matter your health status lets be a team and raise some money while we have a bit of fun! This is an open team - so anyone can join.

Remember that you don't need to be a gym junkie to do this challenge, if you want to walk, run, swim, lift weights, dance, do chair yoga - anything you CAN do is perfect for this challenge.

As we challenge ourselves to reach these goals during September, it would really help us to know that we have your support. If you can rally behind us with even a small donation, it would motivate us through the month and keep my spirits high.

All proceeds go towards Crohn's & Colitis Australia's support services, research initiatives, education and advocacy programs for the Crohn's and colitis community
