Set against a backdrop of a global pandemic, it seems more relevant than ever to spark up conversations and shed light on people living with auto immune diseases.

So, I am once more committing myself to running 150kms this September for Crohns and Colitis Australia. This is a cause that's very personal for me having lived with Ulcerative Colitis for 11 years.

Last year I really wanted to raise funds (and successfully did so thanks to the generous donations of everyone that supported this cause). However this year, my focus is on raising awareness and to shed some light on people living with not on IBD, but also other autoimmune conditions.

All proceeds go towards Crohn's & Colitis Australia who provide research, education and advocacy programs for people living with these illnesses.

These and have been a particularly instrumental resource for people living with IBD this year.

Well and truly on track for the 150km.....

I've completed 95km so far and feeling pretty damn good! I cannot thank everyone enough that has donated so far to my page, and those that also have reached out or shared my posts and stories.

It's a tough time for everyone; but for some it's made that much worse by something that's totally out of their control. This organisation and cause helps provide such valuable resources and support to those affected.

You are all amazing! Thanks again!
