I'm living fearlessly this September. Will you support me?
I’m taking on the Live Fearless Challenge this September to raise awareness and funds for the almost 180,000 Australians living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
I have never shared my story online and I think it's time. I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease 15 years ago when I was just 13. Over the years I have faced constant medication change, hospital stays and navigating my way through excruciating pain on a daily basis. However in 2023 I got a bowel resection surgery that changed my life. Although I still have my times of struggle, my real inspiration and the true reason I am completing this challenge is for my Mum. She too has battled her Crohn's disease since 10 years old and is my true inspiration who has taught me so much. This is for you Mum!
So I’m getting active this September and aiming to complete 150km. Every kilometre is for the thousands of people living with IBD who face this in silence.
