We're living fearlessly this September by participating in the Live Fearless Challenge 2023
Our family are getting active this September to raise awareness and much needed funds for Australians living with Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis.
Jatora was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease around the time of her 21st birthday. She has faced a series of tough challenges and although has her good and bad days, every day is a constant battle living with this incurable disease.
Crohn's disease is a lifelong gastrointestinal disorder where your immune system attacks healthy cells in the digestive track causing inflammation. Crohn’s can produce many symptoms from abdominal pain, diarrhea, painful joints, weight loss and severe anemia. Some of these symptoms are present daily while others only during a flare but being in and out of hospital and in constant pain is not uncommon. This is a chronic disease that currently has no cure.
We as a family are putting on our sneakers to run/walk a total of 500kms this September and we need your help! If you can rally behind us with a donation, it would be greatly appreciated. Even the smallest amount makes a difference. If you can’t make a donation that’s okay too, we please ask you to help by raising awareness and sharing our fundraising page to spread the word.
All funds go towards Crohn’s and Colitis Australia to provide research, education and advocacy programs for people living with an IBD.
