This month, I will take on the Live Fearless challenge to help others impacted by IBD and Crohn's.
When I was first diagnosed, I lost what I had been working hardest towards: my fitness. I had to give up a sport I loved, going to the gym for more than an hour, and being able to perform to my old standards. I was reduced to simply skin and bone as I lost 11Kg in just a week. But most importantly to me, I lost my ability to run. So this September, I will begin my journey back to fitness by running 200Km in one month, not just for myself but for the countless others around me who have suffered far, far worse than I have. To support the fellow carriers of a life-changing disease, I will start with the simple goal of $750, but believe me, this number will only grow and will support more lives than you could even imagine.
