Living Fearless

I was diagnosed with Crohn’s at the age of 14, being a teenager and wanting to be “normal” I kept this from most people in my life until I was a young adult in my 20’s. Crohn’s is an invisible illness that not only affects your physical health but can also be detrimental your mental health too. 

I’m participating in the CCA Live Fearless challenge to help invest in life changing research, education, advocacy and provide support services for people living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Without this type of research I wouldn’t have been on medication that was safe to be on whilst pregnant and have my two beautiful babies or live a relatively pain free life and luckily for me avoided any surgery with my disease controlled through medication. 

I want to give something back to support the IBD community who has given a lot to me and I am so grateful for.
