I’m Briante, and I’m taking part in the Live Fearless Challenge, not just as a participant, but as someone living with Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis.
I was diagnosed just over a year ago, and it’s been a life-changing journey ever since. Crohn’s is an invisible illness, but the toll it takes is very real physically and emotionally. Every day brings new challenges, from managing pain and fatigue to navigating diet changes, medications, and the uncertainty of flare-ups. It can be isolating and exhausting but I’ve learned how strong I really am.
This challenge is my way of showing up for myself, for others living with Crohn’s or colitis, and for the 100,000+ Australians affected by these diseases. I’m walking (and moving!) to raise funds and awareness for Crohn’s & Colitis Australia (CCA), who provide critical support, education, and advocacy.
My team and I are aiming to raise $1000 to support this cause. Your donation, no matter the amount, can help improve lives, fund research, and bring us closer to a cure.
